Q. What is a union and political printer?

A. A union printer is one who has signed a contract with a union, ensuring higher pay, benefits and improved workplace standards for employees. Less than 10% of the printing workforce is part of a union.

Q. What does this mean for our clients?

A. We can accommodate Government, City, Political campaign printing, or any other print job that requires a Union Bug. We can place our union label (bug) on each printed piece to inform consumers that the item was with a Union Printer. This option is provided at NO EXTRA COST.

Q. Is a union printer more expensive?

A. Don Mickey Designs, Inc. has some of the most competitive pricing on digital and offset printing. We print pieces including political direct mailing campaigns at rates that are hard to beat.

Q. What is the union bug?

A. The union bug is a small, discreet label that indicates support of union labor, and high quality workmanship. The AFL/CIO affiliated union label signifies quality workmanship and an above average working environment.

Q. What does the union have to do with political printing?

A. Candidates running for office and elected officials show their support of union labor by getting political campaign printing and general work done through union printers like Don Mickey Designs.

Q. Does DMD print for political campaigns?

A. From all aspects of political campaign direct mailing including postcard and brochure direct mailers, rack cards, campaign signs, posters, and even the banners, Don Mickey Designs can meet all of your political campaign printing needs.
